October 2018 Meeting – #MeToo?

 Norissa Stutson: #MeToo?

What if I told you there’s another “Me Too” movement that has been disparaging the business industry for many years?  Another monthly, weekly, or daily occurrence slowly stealing the joy of women in the workplace; instilling doubt, fear, and breaking down the boundaries of trust that are not easily built.  This unspoken thief of happiness in accomplishments and pride in achievements also causes many women to say “Me Too.”

Norissa Stutson is the Branch Chief for Food Contracts Worldwide at the Army and Air Force Exchange Service, headquartered in Dallas, TX.  She is the recipient of several elite corporate awards and most recently received Dale Carnegie’s Highest Award for Achievement. She is a 2003 graduate of Christopher Newport University majoring in Political Science with a minor in Communications and then attained her Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Honors from Northwood University in 2011. Outside her civil service life, Norissa is a board member for Let’s Start Giving Foundation. As an active member of Concord Church of Dallas, TX, she is also a Women of Worth Grow Group Leader. By far, her favorite role is being the loving wife of Robert and mother to Harrington (18) and Cameron (5).
